The 2019 China Agricultural Exhibition Association Annual Meeting was held in Jiangsu

The 2019 China Agricultural Exhibition Association Annual Meeting and the launch of the China Agricultural Exhibition Classification Certification work were held on December 16 at the China Jiangsu Baima Agricultural International Expo Center (hereinafter referred to as "Baima Agricultural Expo Center"), marking the official commissioning of the Baima Agricultural Expo Center. It is understood that the Baima Agricultural Expo Center, as an important carrier for the construction of the Jiangsu Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Industrial Demonstration Zone, will be built into a national center for the display, transaction, and promotion of agricultural high-tech scientific and technological achievements, providing strong technological support for agricultural modernization.

On November 18 this year, the State Council officially issued the "Approval on Agreeing to the Construction of the Jiangsu Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Industrial Demonstration Zone," upgrading the Nanjing Baima National Agricultural Science and Technology Park to the Jiangsu Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Industrial Demonstration Zone (referred to as "Nanjing Agricultural High-tech Zone"), becoming the first and only national agricultural high-tech zone in the province.

Located in the core area of the Nanjing Agricultural High-tech Zone, the Baima Agricultural Expo Center covers a total area of approximately 45,000 square meters. It is the largest professional agricultural exhibition center in China, with a net exhibition area of 10,000 square meters, 500 standard booths, 15 meeting and negotiation rooms, and a large conference hall that can accommodate 3,000 participants.

On the 16th of the month, approximately 300 member units from the China Agricultural Exhibition Association gathered at the Baima Agricultural Expo Center to summarize the work of 2019 and discuss the development opportunities of the agricultural exhibition industry. Liu Dexiong, secretary-general of the China Agricultural Exhibition Association, said that the current period is the best opportunity for the development of the agricultural exhibition industry. The Baima Agricultural Expo Center, as the only agricultural exhibition center located in a park nationwide, has distinct characteristics. At the same time, the park is one of the first national agricultural demonstration zones, with concentrated scientific and educational resources, a good industrial foundation, and obvious advantages in the development of the exhibition industry. It is understood that the Baima Agricultural Expo Center has attracted influential agricultural exhibitions such as the Asian Fruit and Vegetable Industry Expo and the World Strawberry Brand Conference to permanently settle there, and will also hold two professional summits and forums this month.
